Pengaruh Program Bimbingan Keterampilan Terhadap Kemandirian Penyandang Disabilitas Tubuh di Panti Sosial Bina Daksa “Bahagia” Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This thesis put forward in order to qualify a bachelor's degree of Social Welfare. Problems encountered in this thesis is the influence of skills counseling program for persons with disabilities independence of the body as seen from the development of social and personal development of persons with disabilities in the body. Population of this research are 47 persons with disabilities who receive skills counseling program in Panti Sosial Bina Daksa “Bahagia” Sumatera Utara with a level of 15-38 years of age. This type of research used in this study using an explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Data collection through questionnaires, interviews and observation. The data obtained are tabulated into a table then analyzed by Product Moment technique. Based on the data that has been collected and analyzed that influence skills counseling program for persons with disabilities independence of the body where the product moment correlation value is greater than the moment the table, then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. This means that there is significant influence between skills counseling program for persons with disabilities independence. The conclusion that the skills counseling program have a significant influence on the independence of persons with disabilities.
