This study uses descriptive type because this study describe the subject or
object of research in the form of data that already exist and aims to describe the
characteristics of the subject or the object in detail . This research was conducted in
the Penitentiary Class I Medan the number of population is 356 , the sample in this
study was 36 people by using purposive sampling .
The results obtained are inmates receive coaching and training good
independence . But there are still obstacles in the implementation is the lack of
