dc.description.abstractCrime is a social problem that is difficult to overcome, and a social problem that has long been the case. every community in the country has always faced a crime , because none of the countries that regardless of the crime but the crime rate in any number of different countries . Therefore , man is only able to reduce the crime of . In this modern era of various forms of crime can be done and happen to anyone , anytime and anywhere regardless of age and social status . This study uses descriptive type because this study describe the subject or object of research in the form of data that already exist and aims to describe the characteristics of the subject or the object in detail . This research was conducted in the Penitentiary Class I Medan the number of population is 356 , the sample in this study was 36 people by using purposive sampling . The results obtained are inmates receive coaching and training good independence . But there are still obstacles in the implementation is the lack of infrastructure , the number of inmates who are not in accordance with the capacity of prisons . The addition of appropriate personnel with skills and skills in the training of inmates.en_US
