dc.description.abstractIn the current situation so it can be seen that the people who have a weak economy do not get health insurance. From the previous government health insurance program for the poor are not distributed evenly and precisely targeted. Then BPJS Health is the government health insurance program that is essentially mutual help. The issues discussed in this research is how the candidates respond to the ordinance BPJS maintenance BPJS card in Medan Main Branch Office, aims to determine how to respond to potential participants maintenance procedures for this health insurance card. Through this study are expected to develop concepts and theories relating to health insurance. This research was conducted in BPJS KCU Health (Main Branch Office) at Jln Medan. Ex 135 works Sei agul. This research is classified as descriptive research type with as much a population of 250 people (250 family card) is then taken a sample of 25 people (25 family card). The sampling technique in this study is a simple random. Simple random sampling techniques used in research there is no criteria that have been made of objects in the study, because all of the samples have the opportunity to serve as a data source. To obtain the data, researchers used a questionnaire research instrument. In perform data analysis, researchers used quantitative analysis methods with descriptive data analysis. Based on data analysis can be concluded that the applicants who wish to enroll and family to BPJS seen from the aspect of perception and participation, candidates have a positive perception and participation, it can be seen from the knowledge and involvement of the Health BPJS program as well as knowledge of the potential participants registration requirements and groove predetermined BPJS Health. While the attitude of potential participants had a negative response, it is caused by the lack of ability of the candidates to meet the enrollment requirements that have been set.en_US
