This research is motivated by the company over the development time
required to be socially responsible. This happens because in addition there are
economic disparities between businesses and surrounding communities,
businesses often have a negative impact on the environment. It is what lies behind
the emergence of the concept of Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR).
This study aims to determine whether the variable Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) in Kecamatan Sei Suka, Medang Deras, and Air Putih
influential Against Corporate Image to PT. Indonesia Asahan Aluminium
(Persero) (Studies of Society Batubara).
This type of research is the study of causal (causal) with a quantitative
approach. The population in this study is Studies of Society Batubara. Data were
collected through questionnaires to 100 respondents. The sampling technique in
this research is done with the technique of Non-Probability Sampling with
purposive sampling approach. Type of data is primary data and secondary data.
Data analysis technique used is Test Instrument is Validity and Reliability Test,
Data Analysis Method is Simple Linear Regression and Non Parametric Test with
Simple Linear Correlation. And Hypothesis Testing with Test T (Partial) and the
coefficient of determination (R2).
Based on the results of the partial test (t) in Kecamatan Sei Suka and Air
Putih, variable Corporate Social Responsibility (X) partially have a real influence
and (significantly) to variable Corporate Image. Then in the Kecamatan Medang
Deras, variable Corporate Social Responsibility (X) partially not have a
significant effect on the variable and Corporate Image. Furthermore, the results
of simple linear correlation calculation (product moment correlation), the value
of r: 0756 in Kecamatan Sei Suka. The results showed a correlation between
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Image has a relationship
Powerful and Positive forms of relationship is linear. Then r: 0.500 Kecamatan
Air Putih means the results have strong relationships and relationships are Linear
Positive form. While in the Kecamatan Medang Deras values obtained r: -0.084
means that the results are not to have a strong relationship and the relationship of
each Linear Negative.
