Analisis Pengendalian Persediaan Produk Synchrowood dengan Menggunakan Metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) pada Toko Creative Interior

Abstract

Business has entered an era of high competition with the appearance of newcomers that come to participate in all kinds of businesses. Every business owner competes with each other, develops their business as maximum as possible and wants to expand their business. This research was conducted at Creative Interior Store. The problem that they face is that they haven’t paid a detailed attention about their inventory management like inventory planning and controlling. The purpose of this research is to find the average purchase quantity of inventory, frequency of inventory purchases, total cost of inventory, safety stock and reorder point. This research uses a comparative method with qualitative approach. This research’s data is obtained by interview and literature review. Data analysis technique that is used in this research is all formulas that needed with Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method approach. According to the analysis that have been done with EOQ method, the average purchase quantity is 4970.46 m2, frequency of inventory purchases is 2 times, total cost of inventory is Rp 159,051,754.84, safety stock quantity is 482.38 m2 and reorder point quantity is 1022.56 m2
