Abstract

The background of this study want to raise the issue on the basis of well-being of families through small traders in the market Petisah Medan. Because welfare is not just a public purpose in a place, environment, or a certain atmosphere. But the needs of all communities living in the world to defend his own life in terms of development, both physically and mentally. Among the community or nation, wherever it is always welfare issues discussed/dealt, it makes the existence of welfare legislation is spoken and determined This study used descriptive research method, with a population of as many as 71 small traders. Data taken from all the existing populations. The data collected through questionnaire dissemination, supported by interviews and observation. The research data were analyzed descriptively-quantitative, so that the known tendency of the phenomenon that occurs.
