Abstract

This study aims to calculate the economic value of Tourism Object Nature Waterfall Sipiso - piso , Merek Sub Brand , Karo District using the travel cost method , knowing the intensity of the visit and to determine the factors that influence the intensity of the visit . The number of samples used in this study was 100 respondents , while the sampling technique using a quota sampling technique . Based on research by the economic value derived Tourism Object Nature Waterfall Sipiso using travel cost method is about Rp . 14.708.461.662,8 / tahun . The intensity of visits to Tourism Object Nature Waterfall Sipiso is three times the traffic while the factors that influence the intensity of the visit is the level of income , age and time taken to Tourism Object Nature Waterfall Sipiso - piso .
