| dc.description.abstract | Community economic empowerment is a process conducted in order to enable
or enhance the ability and independence of the community. Economic empowerment
of society is a necessity, because in accordance with the times, the government must
innovate to remain to exist as a local government in charge to run an economy and
community development in villages in particular and the country in general. Efforts
implementation of economic empowerment of communities in Mandailing Natal
district, local government took measures or steps in the economic empowerment of
the community is through PNPM MP.
This thesis is entitled The Effect of the National Program for Community
Empowerment Rural Affairs Mandiri Savings and Loans Women Against Family
Socioeconomic Sinonoan Village Sub District Siabu Mandailing Natal. The problem
raised was "whether there is a relationship between the activity of the Savings and
Loans Women Socioeconomic Sinonoan Family Village.
This research is a method of explanation that is intended to test the
hypothesized variables, where the sample in this study were all members of the two
women's savings groups, as many as 23 people.
From the results of correlation analysis performed by analysis of known
product moment correlation coefficient (rxy) = 0.516 with significant level of 5%
(95% confidence tarap), ie 0.413, were higher than the price of t table is 0.413, so it
can be concluded that there is a saving relationship borrow women's socio-economic
level of family income "Ho on the decline" which contributed 26.62% while 73.38%
is obtained from outside the Savings and Loans Women's Activities, namely the
