Aplikasi Penginderaan Jauh dan Sig Untuk Penatagunaan Lahan Mangrove di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The aim of this research is to detect wide area condition of mangrove forest in Regency of Serdang Bedagai Province North Sumatera , analyze the cause of changed forest land covering and give directive to arrangment land of mangrove . Land covering type determination using satellite image data is processed with satellite image processing method . While land covering quantity is determined through Geographical Information System . The results from research show condition of mangrove forest in Regency of Serdang Bedagai Province North Sumatera owned wide total 3860 Ha dispersed in 5 Regency , Pantai Cermin 274 Ha ( 7 % ) , Perbaungan 297 Ha ( 8 % ) , Teluk Mengkudu 908 Ha ( 24 % ) , Tanjung Beringin 780 Ha ( 20 % ) and Bandar Khalipah 1597 Ha ( 41 % ) .
