An employee who has a high performance and better able to support the
achievement of goals and objectives that have been set by the company.
Employees can work well if you have a high performance so as to produce good
work anyway. With the high performance that employees, is expected to
organizational goals can be achieved. One of which is carried out by the company
is to provide compensation and decent working environment in order to improve
the performance of employees at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium Kuala
Tanjung.
This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and work
environment to employees performance at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium Kuala
Tanjung.
The results showed that the variable compensation significant positive effect on
employee performance. Seddangkan to study each independent variable, is also
positive and significant effect on the variable performance of employees at PT
Indonesia Asahan Aluminium Kuala Tanjung.
The method used is quantitative descriptive approach. Analysis of the data
in this study using multiple linear regression analysis. This analysis aims to
predict changes in the value of the dependent variable due to the influence of the
independent variables.
From the calculation of the regression equation Y = 10.243 + 0,153X1 +
0,492X2 where X1 is compensation, work environment and X2 and Y is the
performance of employees at PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium Kuala Tanjung.
From this equation it can be concluded if the compensation variable (X1)
increased by one unit will increase the performance of employees amounted to
0,153 units, and if the work environment variables (X2) increased by one unit will
increase the performance of employees amounted to 0.492 units.
