Respon Narapidana terhadap Program Pembinaan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas Ii A Binjai

Abstract

Increasing the amount of crime in society led to the legal process and the coaching process should be run in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. One of the tools to deal with crime through the container building is the prison inmate who aims to nurture and educate the perpetrators to repent or no longer commit crimes and return to normal life in society as well. Development Program conducted the coaching and coaching personalities of independence. This study aims to determine the response of the inmates in the coaching program Penitentiary II Class A Binjai. The research was conducted in a Class II Correctional Institution, located at Jalan Binjai Gatot Subroto no: 72 Binjai. This study is descriptive, the sample in this study using sampling method "proportional purposive sampling" the prisoner who has undergone the punishment period between 1 and 5 years as many as 57 people. Data analysis techniques using a single table and described in qualitative and quantitative analysis by using a Likert scale to measure perceptions, attitudes and participation of the inmate construction program. Results of analysis of data showed that the respondents have a positive perception of the value of 0.59 coaching program. Respondents' attitudes were positive coaching program with a value of 0.86 and the participation of respondents to the coaching program is positive with a value of 0.63. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that the response of inmates to the program is a positive development. This is because of the seriousness of the inmate to carry out the training program and become a better human being
