Kajian Mulsa Sebagai Faktor Tindakan Konservasi terhadap Erosi di Sub Daerah Aliran Sungai Deli
Abstract
Efforts to prevent soil erosion is to use land conservation methods. This study aims to study mulch as a factor of conservation action against erosion in the Deli Sub-watershed which was carried out in August – September 2021 in the Deli river basin. The results showed that the conservation value obtained from some of the mulches tested were husk mulch 0.36, straw 0.38 and humus soil 0.67. With the amount of erosion obtained from the small plot method for the control land 19.57 tons/(ha.yr), on rice husk land 7.06 tons/(ha.yr), on rice straw land 7.47 tons/(ha .yr), and on humus soil 9,87 ton/(ha.yr).
