dc.description.abstractThe salak jam maker is a tool that is built in one design from a combination of a crusher and a stirrer to be able to process jam. This is so that making jam becomes practical with a tool that can crush the ingredients and stir the ingredients into jam. The purpose of this study was to increase the shelf life and value of this salak fruit by making a Semi-Mechanical Jam Maker. This research is seen from the level of efficiency of this tool working. The results of the research on testing the semi-mechanical jam maker with a time difference of 80.32 minutes, 80.03 minutes, and 79.20 minutes were declared successful. The average effective capacity of the tool is 7.70 kg/hour. The average material loss (Loses) is 30.56%. The power used is 0.410 kWh on averageen_US
