Partisipasi Masyarakat terhadap Posyandu dalam Upaya Pelayanan Kesehatan Balita (Studi Kasus pada Posyandu Melati di Desa Sigapiton Kecamatan Ajibata Kabupaten Toba Samosir)

Abstract

Poverty is a problem phenomenal. Therefore, poverty is a topic that is very important and crucial to be completed. The phenomenon of poverty is most common in rural areas. The majority of Indonesian people living in rural areas are farmers. In addition to the lack of land for farming, other issues which are the cause of many poor farmers in Indonesia is the lack of capital and lack of knowledge of each farmer to develop his farm. Lack of capital and lack of knowledge in agriculture is a problem often faced by farmers. One of the efforts of the government to resolve this issue is launched Pengembangan Usaha Agribisnis Pedesaan (PUAP) programs, which is integrated by Program Nasional Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Mandiri (PNPM-Mandiri). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect Pengembangan Usaha Agribisnis Pedesaan (PUAP) programs on the welfare of farmers in Dipar Hataran village Subdistrict Jorlanghataran Regency of Simalungun. This study classified the type of explanative research using descriptive statistical analysis. The sample was 18 farmers who are members of the Gabungan Kelompok Tani Dipar Hataran village. Presentation of the data in this study using the system tables. Data collection techniques are performed literature studies, field studies, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the data analysis showed that the influence of Pengembangan Usaha Agribisnis Pedesaan (PUAP) programs for the welfare of farmers in Dipar Hataran village is less influential. This is caused by a lack of financial aid received by each farmer and the lack of counseling for increasing knowledge in agriculture
