dc.description.abstractModification is a change or planning of form that is intended to get better results or improve the quality of the tool. Therefore, this research was carried out with the aim of modifying the flouring blade, shaft and sieve on the pellet press and testing the tool. This study uses a different test method. Modifications made in this study are changes in the number of blades from 2 blades to 3 blades. In the filter section, changes are made to the sieve, namely from a mesh sieve with a hole diameter of 50 mesh to a mesh with a diameter of 35 mesh for a sieve hole and changes to the shaft part of the tool which aim to make the shaft cleaner and easier to replace the pulley. The parameters studied were fuel consumption, effective capacity of the tool, percentage of material left behind and yield. The average fuel consumption after modification is 0.453 l/hour. The effective capacity of the tool obtained after modification is an average of 1.2 kg/hour and the percentage of material left in the tool after modification is 28.99% and the yield value after modification is obtained an average of 70.99%.en_US
