dc.description.abstractThe mechanical coconut coir decomposer is a coconut coir decomposing machine that can decompose hard coconut coir into a fine cocopeat powder. The purpose of this research is to get the best rotational speed (RPM). In this study, the use of the design method was non-factorial RAL (Completely Randomized Design). The rotational speed of the tool (rpm) used was 1000 rpm (P1), 1500 rpm (P2) and 2000 rpm (P3). The results showed the largest effective capacity of the cutting tool in the P3 treatment was 7,734 kg/hour and the smallest P1 was 5,809 kg/hour with the largest fuel consumption P2 of 1,365 l/hour and the smallest of 1,147 l/hour and the largest yield of 66.67% and the smallest of 43.50%. From the results of this test, the product is cocopeat.en_US
