Evaluasi Pelaksanaan Program Asuransi Kesejahteraan Sosial oleh Lembaga Pelayanan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Indonesia di Kelurahan Mabar Hilir Kecamatan Medan Deli

Abstract

Social welfare insurance (Askesos) is one of gurantees system that gives protection/responsibility for people who live in low economy especially for employed informal and independent sector. Informal sector workers and self-employed workers whose livelihoods are poor, earning bellow the provincial minimum wage. Askesos provide warranty protection for the three years to provide replacement funding where the breadwinner suffered potentially decreasing the risk of social welfare due to death, illness, accident and was in a state of non-fulfillment of the basic needs of members through the claims process. The research conducted in the Lower Village District Mabar Medan Deli as one location program organized by the government in cooperation with YAKMI institutions as partners for three years of the program. Research study using descriptive methode that aims to give a situation. To obtain necessary data, this research study used data collection technique and field study wich consists of questionnaire, interview and observation. The result of data analysis showed that there was an increase of social welfare in the Lower Village District Mabar Medan Deli after the implementation of Insurance Social Welfare Programs. Program evaluation can be seen from the aspect of input, process, output and impact oof the program. Askesos program has succeeded in providing social protection to participants Askesos in the form of social welfare in the Lower Village District Mabar
