Dampak Bencana Pasca Meletusnya Gunung Sinabung terhadap Kehidupan Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Desa Bekerah Kecamatan Naman Teran Kabupaten Karo

Abstract

One of the social problems faced by the people of Indonesia at the time of the incident it is by natural disasters and their impact for the residents around the site of a natural disaster. From any natural disasters that happen would cause heavy losses from every aspect of life. Natural disasters can lead to destructive impacts on economic, social and environmental. Infrastructure damage could disrupt social activities in the field of social impact, including the death of injuries, pain, loss of shelter and community turmoil, while environmental degradation can be mecakup the destruction of forests that protect the Mainland. Mount Sinabung is Mount fire on the plateau of Karo Regency, this mountain was never recorded active since 1600 but suddenly erupted again in 2010. On a late return is active in September 2014. Bekerah village is one of the villages that are in the red zone, a radius of 2 kilometers from the crater of Mount Sinabung, so this location is the location that is closest to the catastrophic impact of the eruption of Mount Sinabung. This research belongs to the type of research eksplanatif research that is specifically made for the purpose of testing or proving the hypothesis with the method of quantitative approaches, the goal of quantitative research is to develop and employ mathematical models, theories and/or hypotheses pertaining to natural phenomena. As for the population of this research is 348 inhabitants, the whole village community disaster-affected Bekerah eruption of Mount Sinabung located in Karo University refugee command post in the determination of a sample of researchers took 10% of the population, as many as 35 people. Technique of data analysis in this research is eksplanatif data analysis techniques. To see the relationships between variables, hypothesis testing technique research on the correlation of the test used was t. Based on the results of the research that has been done in post disaster impact mount Sinabung eruption against the socio-economic life of the village community BekerahNamanTeran Sub-district Karo Regency that the eruption of Mount Sinabung gives a very bad impact on the socioeconomic life of the population
