Respon Masyarakat terhadap Program Pemulihan Tempat Tinggal bagi Korban Erupsi Gunung Sinabung oleh Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (Bnpb) di Desa Sigarang -Garang Kecamatan Naman Teran Kabupaten Karo
Abstract
The eruption of Mount Sinabung had left very deep sorrow for people
living near. One of the village that was severely damaged by Sinabung’s eruption
is Village-fierce Sigarang District of Naman Teran Karo. The village like this
already dead destroyed houses, fields are a source of livelihood can not be planted
which closed with volcanic ash and the public facilities had been damaged.
Based on this, BNPB implemented the residential recovery program for victims of
the eruption of Mount Sinabung in the village Sigarang-fierce Karo District of
Naman Teran. This study aims to determine public response to the residential
recovery program for victims of the Mount Sinabung’s eruption which is
implemented by BNPB.
This study is descriptive analysis and consider the homogeneity of the
level education of respondents in determine of response. The sample of this study
consists of 25 respondents who were taken from 10% of the all head of family in
the Sigarang-garang Village Karo District of Naman Teran. Analysis uses the
Likert scale to measure attitudes, perceptions and public participation in the social
phenomenon. Respondents were given the questionnaire respondents are
presented in tabular form and then made it became the quantitative analysis with
Likert scale.
The results of data analysis shows that the respondents have positive
perception of residential recovery program for victims Mount Sinabung’s
eruption, with the value is 0.48. Respondents' attitudes toward residential recovery
program for victims of the Mount Sinabung’s eruption is neutral, with the value is
0.12, and the respondents participation to the shelter recovery program for victims
Mount Sinabung’s eruption is positive, with the value is 0.4. Based on the
analysis above, it can be argued that the public response to the residential
recovery program for victims Mount Sinabung’s eruption is positive. This is
caused by the public desire to recovery their damaged villages.
