dc.description.abstract | Planning a parkin~ spacespecially in city wich has high volume
automobilies usage should consider the activities of street users and
transportation devices, wich travel across one road section, therefore
it can achieve a condition that give secure feeling, confortable and able
to create orderliness and convenience in utilizing avaliable street
facilitiesti particulary in city artery street.
In the reseach the writer try to excavate also .!valuayion any
problems that influence the utilization of street body c.s parking space
and find coat the charactreic crelation of the parldng activities toward
street users wichcaninjluence secrty safety, and pleasantness
particularly for street user.the method has been used by the writer was
anlitic descritive method, by coilecting, arranging andquality, analyze
and make conclusion, in order to get clear of the research object. Data
obtained form questioner, interview and observation.
In analyzing the significance of correlation result, the writer use
SPSS
Program 11.00 which based on the analysis can be conclude
that ifcorelation up to 0. 5 there area close conjunction and on the
other hand if below the 0,5 then the conjunction is not close. The result
of this research show that the correlation rate of street users toward
parking spacevand security and pleesantness rate of the street user.
Statistic test show significance 0, n00<p=0. 05 with correlation
coefficient values for about 0,823. It suggest that the parldng location
has a connection tcwar"i +rasport,ision device type with correlation
rate 82,3%.
There fore it can be conclude that supported insfrastructure in
street section performance, such as : the limitation of parking space,
traffic arrangement, parking access arrangement, and establish
particular time to load and hauled up of cargo car are the solution to
