Identifikasi dan Inventarisasi Pengelolaan Hutan Rakyat di Kecamatan Biru-Biru

Abstract

This research conducted on December 2008 until March 2009. The aims of this research is to identify forest society management activity in Biru - biru sub district , Deli Serdang , to know some characters of forest society ( such as management pattern , land useful pattern , and ratio of wood trees and fruit trees ) , potencial of a stand forest society , and to know economics benefit of forest society in form society additional funds . Data collected as secondary data and primary data , these got by agency and interview with society . Analyse data to count potencial of a stand forest society used tree volume formula and then described it based on graph and table . Forest society management activity in Biru - biru sub district starting by land preparation , planting , maintenance , harvesting , and distribution with the most dominant form of management forest society is agroforestry . Globally , useful land pattern in Biru - biru sub district is not intensively . the procentage is 72,72 % . The most dominant structure of a stand are the trees that have 11-20 diameter and mahoni ( Swietenia mahagony ) is tree that the most dominant in that area . Wood trees ratio is bigger than fruit trees ratio . Potencial of a stand forest society in Biru - biru sub district is 148 m³ with land at large 13,9 ha and potency is 0,64 m² , total summary a stand of forest society could be reached Rp14.800.000 . economis benefit getting from forest society in Biru - biru sub district could help farmer / society additional funds and all increasing at once prosperity of the people beside ecology benefit that rehabilitating critical land .
