dc.description.abstractThis research aimed at detecting the spreading of the Arthocarpus communis kind in various heights in North Sumatra , was based on the height of the place grew , the breadfruit kind that was found , system silviculture that was used , the utilization bread fruit , the processing breadfruit , in the Batubara Regency , Simalungun and Deli Serdang Province North Sumatera during three months from October up to December . The object of the research was the growth of breadfruit with the height of the place 0 1100 mdpl . The data collection identification the breadfruit crop , the study of the book , and the primary data with distributed questioner to the respondent , the interview as well as direct observation from the field . The interview data and questioner was processed in the form of the percentage and the table perception the community to the crop breadfruit and the spreading in North Sumatra . From results of the research of showing that the breadfruit crop could grow by being good with the height of the region 01100 m from sea level , and the height of the region did not influence the growth of breadfruit . Results showed the number that varied in each location of the researchen_US
