    Penentuan Aktivitas Radionuklida Alam (226Ra, 232Th & 40K) dalam Debu Vulkanik Gunung Sinabung, Pupuk Fosfat dan Tanah Pertanian dengan Metode Spektrometri Gamma serta Perkiraan Dampaknya pada Lingkungan

    Abstract
    The activity of natural radionuclides 226Ra, 232Th and 40K in Mount Sinabung Volcanic Ash, four types of chemical fertilizers and soil samples have been determined by gamma spectrometry method with a high purity germanium (HpGe) detector. The ranges of activity concentrations of 226Ra, 232Th and 40K in agricultural soils in Jeraya Village were 22.46±2.24 – 30.65±3.0; 53.88±5.38 – 63.79±6.30; 265.10±26.09 Bq/kg. Then, activity of 226Ra, 232Th and 40K measured for different fertilizer samples were relatively high for 40K at 3406.605 Bq/kg and relatively low for 226Ra and 232Th at 20.1 Bq/kg and 10.9 Bq/kg, respectively. Meanwhile, Activity of 226Ra, 232Th abd 40K in Mount Sinabung Volcanic Ash were 12.56 ± 1.25; 33.62±3.33 dan 519.35±49.41 Bq/kg, respectively. According to Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 101 (2014) regarding Hazardous and Toxic Substances Management, the activity concentration of 226Ra, 232Th, and 40K in each of samples was well within the permissible limits which were 1000 Bq/kg for 226Ra and 232Th then 10,000 Bq/kg for 40K. In the other side, the radiological hazard was estimated from radium equivalent activity (Raeq) index, Absorbed dose rate (D) and outdoor annual effective dose. The results showed that the average value of Raeq index, D and E for each samples were in the range of the worldwide average limit value according to UNSCEAR (2000) and ICRP, except Raeq and D for two samples (NPK and PF).
     
    Aktivitas radonuklida alam 226Ra, 232Th dan 40K dalam sampel debu vulkanik Gunung Sinabung, empat jenis pupuk dan tanah pertanian telah ditentukan dengan metode Spektrometri Gamma yang dilengkapi dengan detektor HpGe (high purity germanium). Aktivitas radionuklida alam 226Ra, 232Th dan 40K di dalam tanah pertanian desa Jeraya adalah 22,46±2,24 – 30,65±3,0; 53,88±5,38 – 63,79±6,30 dan 265,10±26,09- 315,54±30,75Bq/kg. Aktivitas rata-rata dari 226Ra, 232Th dan 40K untuk sampel pupuk cukup tinggi untuk 40K yaitu 3406,6 Bq/kg dan relatif rendah untuk 226Ra dan 232Th yaitu 20,1 Bq/kg dan 10,9 Bq/kg. Sedangkan, Aktivitas 226Ra, 232Th dan 40K dalam debu vulkanik masing-masing adalah 12,56 ± 1,25; 33,62±3,33 dan 519,35±49,41 Bq/kg. Berdasarkan PP RI No. 101 tahun 2014 tentang Pengelolaan Limbah Bahan Berbahaya dan Beracun, aktivitas 226Ra, 232Th dan 40K pada masing-masing sampel debu vulkanik, pupuk dan tanah pertanian masih dibawah ambang batas yang diperbolehkan yaitu sebesar 1000 Bq/kg untuk 226Ra dan 232Th serta 10.000 Bq/kg untuk 40K. Potensi bahaya radiasi dari radionuklida alam juga dapat diperkirakan melalui indeks radium equivalent (Raeq), laju dosis serap (D) dan dosis efektif tahunan outdoor(E). Hasil rata-rata indeks Raeq, D dan E dari masing masing sampel masih dibawah ambang batas yang diijinkan UNSCEAR (2000) dan ICRP, kecuali nilai Raeq dan D untuk sampel NPK dan PF.
