Abstract

Indonesia 1s the world largest archipelago with about 13.000 tropical islands surounded by vast teritorial water of about 5,8 million square kilometers. Having living abundant living marine.. Resources in it's water, the Indonesian government accords high priority to development management utilization of living marine resource and conservation of the coastal and marine environment. Nevertheless, poverty problems in Indonesia especially in fishing community, have been thought for many years. Fishery sector as one of government goal in effort of increasing the export of non-oil and gas, preparing the job opportunity, income source and increase the food nutrition. But by looking from the other side, showed that the population live in the coastal area that roled active in the fishery effort an most of them still not release from the poorness circle that need a serious handling if we want to prosperious concrete fairly. The aim of research is to analyze the fisheries income that produce dried salted fish, involving 30 producer respondents in Kurnia Village. Although the processing technique still traditional but in the agribusiness system of sea fishery showed that the existension of dried salted fish producer was very important, that for job opportunity, source of people income, and as saver of fishermen product from the devastate process.
