Analisis Pelayanan Perpustakaan Balai Arkeologi Sumatera Utara Berdasarkan Peraturan Kepala Perpustakaan Nasional RI No 14 Tahun 2017
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out library services at the North Sumatra Archaeology Center based on Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia No 14 of 2017. The research method employed in this study is qualitative descriptive research. The informants in this study used purposive sampling as their determination technique. informants in this study, namely 1 library staff and 3 users from the agency. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. testing the data in this study using triangulation, namely, source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this study indicate that North Sumatra Archaeological Center Library Services, based on Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia No 14 of 2017, consist of four sub-indicators: 1) library opening hours; 2) type of service; 3) cooperation; and 4) library promotion. Know the opening hours and the type of service. Balar Library is based on existing standards, but cooperation and Balar Library promotion are not based on existing standards, so it can be concluded that the Library Service of the North Sumatra Archaeological Center already meets two of the four existing service standard indicators, namely Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia No 14 of 2017.
