| dc.description.abstract | This writing aims to determine the circulation service activities in the SMA N 1 Tebing Tinggi. Library the Circulation Service in the library of SMA N 1 Tebing Tinggi includes membership, borrowing, returning, extending the borrowing time, collecting, giving sanction, and giving the statement offine-free. Membership refers to the policy applied by the library directly after being registered as a library member. Borrowing, the process of lending items is still conducted manually which is by writing down the identity of the borrower and the book in the book lending log. Book returning is conducted either by giving the books to the head of the class or coming to the library to return them directly. Extension, every member of the library who wants to extend the time of book loan must come to the library by themselves. Collecting, the library collects the books borrowed by the users by writing down their names and notifying the home teacher that the students have passed the overdue. Giving sanction, the librarian gives sanctions that the students are not allowed to borrow the book anymore and does not issue a fine-free statement if the users are late to return the book. The fine-free statement, the librarian issues the letter of fine-free if the students do not either borrow or return books from the library anymore. | en_US |
