Pengaruh Pengetahuan Remaja dan Peran Orang Tua terhadap Perilaku Seks Bebas Remaja Putri SMA Negeri 2 di Kecamatan Kuta Alam Banda Aceh

Abstract

The case of Sexually Transmitted Infection in the teenagers in Banda Aceh is more increasing following the high case of teenagers free-sex beh,svior. Based on the data for 2010 obtained Irom Kuta Alam Health Center, Banda Aceh, there were 76 cases of Sexually Trawmilted Infectiory and 80 cases ofpre-marriage sex. The purpose of this explanatory survey study was to analyze the influence of teenagers lmowledge and the role of parents on free sexual behavior of the female students of Public Senior High School 2 in Kuta Alam Subdistrict, Banda Aceh. This study was conducted from February 2011 until January 2012. The population of thk study were the grade 2 female students of Public Senior High School 2 Kuto Alam Subdistrict, Banda Aceh. The sample for this study were 68 of the femole shtderrts selected through the proportional stratiJied random sampling technique. The data for this study were obtained lhrough questionnaire-based interviews and were anallzed through multiple logistic regression tests at a : 0.10. The results of this study showed indicate that statistically, the variable of teenagers browledge and the role of parents had Wuence on teenagers girls free sexual behwior. Parents are suggested to control and guide their odolescent da ghters to avoid free sexual behavior. Parents are also expected to pdy attention to their adolescent daughlers to establish a good communication betveen parents and their adolescent daughters. The school managemenl is suggested to provide guidance, counseling and ertension to the students to prevent the incident of free sexaal behortior among the teenagers.
