The objective of this research is to analyze the determining factors of fish production and carbon reserve production in silvofisehry fishponds, namely the existence of mangrove, water quality and mangrove coverage area in the fishponds. The research population is made up of 312 fishpond blocks and the number of samples is 22 fishponds which are collected by using non-probability convenience sampling technique. The data are collected through the fish farming experiment and mangrove crabs farming. This research uses three components of data sources for observation, namely the component of mangrove vegetaion through analysis of mangrove forest stands located insude the fishponds, the components of water quality collected by taking the field data every period during the production cycle, and the components of fish farming production as well as non-farming production during 1 (one) period of fishpond cycle in Kilogram and IDR. Base on the value creteria of CR> 1.960 and P <0.05, the result show that there the width of the fishpond has some effects on yield and the existence of mangrove with the optimum carbon reserve of 31 - 59 ton/ha one the mangrove coverage area of 44% - 80%. This research also confirms the there is a positive and significant effect of water quality on both the production level and fihpond revenue. In addition, it is also proven that the existence of mangroves which is dominated by Rhizophora apiculata inside the fishponds has some effect on the pond fish production level, and that there the mangrove existence has significant and negative effects on the water quality because a wide mangrove coverage, without considering sluice gate construction, cause uneven air circulation in the fishpond. this creates mud sediment leading to turbidity. The mangrove indirectly has negative effects on both production and silvofisehry farmer income mediated by water quality. One of the causes is the fishpond position that is located too close to the Watershed.
