| dc.description.abstract | Backgmand : Obesity is one of unresolved health problem in Indoncsia
Based on Indonesian health profile in 2011, the pretalence of nutritional stahs oJ
adult population Q18 years) in Aceh of obesity I3,l4o/o. Obesity is on of risk factor
that inllrcnce the development of tarious deseases such as : diabetes metlitus ard
lytpertensio4 it occurret because molecules were in adipose tissue. Tumor necrosis
factor alpha (TNF-a) is c-ltokine tlut tended to increase in patients ,yith obesity.
Physical 9 xercise (gtmnastic healty heart) is one oJ activillt that can effect of TNF-a
levels and blood sugar level in people with obesity. This sudy is aimed tmderstand
the effect of physical exercise (gmnastic healty heart) to TNF-a levels and fasting
blood sugar level on human obesity.
Methods : Ihe research design used in this study is purposfue sampling, with
obsemational pre-post test design The obese people age 18-21 years was 25
samples. The sample were given plrysical exercise (gtmnostic healty heart) for 4
weelcs. The measures of TNF-a level and fasting blood sugar level were measutes
before and afier of plrysical exercise, and the samples of thk study was choosed by
using purposhte sampling. The data was analyzed by using univariate and bivariate
and lested by using T-test dependent and correlation pefion.
Resulb : Based on the result of this study, it was found (o) that physical
exercise was no significant effect on TNF-a (p:0,11), ft) physicol exercise was
significant effict on fasting blood sugar level (p=0,03) and (c) There was no
correlation between TNF-a level and fasting blood sugar level before and afier
physical exercise is done (p:0,059 and p:0,192).
Concluslons : The result of this sndy can be concluded that there was no
signiJicant effect of plrysical exercise on TNF-a level, htt physical exercise was
sigaiJicant effect onfasting blood sugar level in obesity. | en_US |
