Abstract

The objective of writing this paper is to determine of the library material processing activities carried out at the Library of Medan Agricultural Extension College. The processing activity of library materials is the core in a library, in order to include information retrieval in a good and systematic manner so that it can be rediscovered quickly and accurately by library users. The writing of this paper uses several methods including the method of library research, observation, interviews, and documentation which carried out at the Library of Medan Agricultural Extension College. The results of the writing of this paper show that there are several processing activities of library materials at the Library of Medan Agricultural Extension College, namely inventory, cataloging classification, and arranging books on shelves (Shelving).
