Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mendorong Keputusan Mahasiswa Menabung di Bank SUMUT
Abstract
Saving society activity is expected to support the economy to remain stable.
To encourage community interest in saving money, banks need a specific strategy
to influence them to want to decide to save. Students as one component of society
is the market share of banks that deserve to be considered to increase the number
of their clients because the amount is large enough. Therefore, banks need to
know in general the most dominant factor which also became a reason for students
to make decisions on bank savings.
This study aims to determine the factors that encourage the student's
decision to save the Bank of North Sumatra. Factor product, location, promotion
and bank credibility factor chosen to determine the most dominant factor in
students choosing to save the Bank of North Sumatra. The analysis undertaken is
descriptive analysis using SPSS tools ver.13.0, descriptive analysis is between the
other is the frequency analysis, tables, cross tabulation (cross tab), and images.
Students selected as research respondents were as many as 60 people from North
Sumatra University (USU), State University of Medan (Unimed) and the Islamic
University of North Sumatra (UISU) by the method of sampling judgment.
The results obtained indicate that the majority of students stated that the
credibility of the bank that became the most dominant factors they choose to save
the Bank of North Sumatra. It can be concluded that the students really trust the
credibility of the Bank of North Sumatra and the majority of students also assume
that the bank's credibility is the most important factor compared to other factors as
the driving factor of their savings in a bank.
