Resilience is essential in the contemporary workplace, which is increasingly characterized by the need to respond adaptively and flexibly to challenges. This is especially true for organizations that have been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic such as hotels. In order for hotels to bounce back from this difficult situation and grow, employees must first adapt positively and thrive in the midst of these extremely difficult conditions. For this reason, this study will analyze the factors that affect employee resilience (predictors of employee resilience). We theorize that organizational support and emotional intelligence are the two most important things for employees to be resilient. Using sample data obtained from several hotel employees in Medan City (N = 512), we found support for all hypotheses. Employees perceived organizational support has a positive and significant impact on employee resilience. We also found that in addition to external factors, emotional intelligence, which is an internal factor also has a positive and significant effect on the level of resilience of employees. Together, these two variables are able to predict the level of employee resilience.en_US
