Pemetaan Daerah Rawan Konflik Gajah Menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis di Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser (Studi Kasus di Resort Tangkahan, Resort Cinta Raja dan Resort Sei Lepan)

Abstract

This research aim to to know form usage of farm able to cause human elephant conflict being and to know supplementary factor the happening of human elephant conflict being in Tangkahan , Cinta Raja and Sei Lepan along the Area of Leuser ecosystem . Excelsior the activity of clear up and forest conversion in Gunung Leuser National Park become agriculture areal and farm causing damage of habitat and pattern explore of elephant up to the elephant looking for new motion room and then the conflict happened . By application Geographical Information System can know some factor which cause the human elephant conflict being among others elevation , sloping , distance from the river and covered farm around Gunung Leuser National Park which is presented in the form of map . By paying attention the pattern of occurence of conflict , can be prediction the area that elephant disturbed human elephant conflict being . The Relation between each factor with amount of damage that cause by occurence of conflict analysed with correlation test of Spearman . Then can know that strongest factor influence occurence of elephant conflict is sloping factor .
