Weight gaining between two dialyses is the indicator of fluid intake during the period of Hemodialysis which can be indicated by the patients' clinical changes like the increase in blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, the increase in central vena, dypsnea, wet rales, coughing, edema, and weight gaining since its recent analysis. The incidence of weight gaining between two dialyses will cause various new problems in patients such as hypertension, peripheral edema, pulmonary edema, and the risk for dilatation and cardio-hypertrhophy. The objective of the research was to find out the effectiveness of an intervention. It used quasi-experiment method with one group pre-test and post-test design. It was conducted in four weeks in doing the intervention. The samples were 28 respondents with inclusive criteria, taken without randomization (non-probability sampling). Wilcoxon Test was used for statistic test. The result of the analysis showed that before the intervention, the mean value was 2.00 and after the intervention it was 1.14 and p-value = 0.000 with α=0.05. It is recommended that patients who want to take hemodialysis participate in counseling so that the limitation of fluid intake for the next hemodialysis can be done independently.en_US
