Analisis Implementasi Prinsip-Prinsip Good Corporate Governance pada PT. Astra International, Tbk – Toyota Sales Operation (AUTO2000) Cabang Gatot Subroto Medan

Abstract

Principles of GCG which conceptually includes the transparency, accountability, responsibility, independency and fairness is a basic of good corporate governance, where the implementation is expected to be used as guidelines in managing the company’s good management by taking into account the interests of stakeholders and has an important role in maximizing corporate value. One of the companies that supporting implementation the principles of good corporate governance is PT. Astra International, Tbk - Toyota Sales Operation (AUTO2000). This support is clearly shown from one of AUTO2000 mission is "always committed to conducting business in accordance Rule of Good Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility" The purpose of this research was to know how the implementation of the principles of good corporate governance (transparency, accountability, responsibility, independency and fairness) in PT. Astra International, Tbk – Toyota Sales Operation (AUTO2000) Cabang Gatot Subroto Medan. The research uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. Data collection methods used in this research were interviews and observation. The informants of this study is the PGA, CRC, and employees of PT. Astra International, Tbk - Toyota Sales Operation (AUTO2000) Cabang Gatot Subroto Medan. The final results from this research showed that the implementation of the principles of good corporate governance in PT. Astra International, Tbk – Toyota Sales Operation (AUTO2000) Cabang Gatot Subroto Medan has been well realized. This is seen from the implementation of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, fairness and equality in the company's business activity daily.
