dc.description.abstract | Objective : To obtain the differences in the output of oocyte and successful pregnancy
delivery on Double trigger GnRH agonists combination with hCG and hCG single In Vitro
Fertilization (IVF).
Study Design : This research is an analytic quasi-experimental study approach by
retrospective to comparing the oocyte quality and successful on hCG combine of GnRH
agonist versus only hCG administration in In Vitro Fertilization. The study was conducted at
Ste!la Maris Hospital Medan and Halim Fertility Center (HFC) Clinic Vitro Fertilization
Division, Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics and Gynecology h. Adam Malik
Hospitai held on January 2015 to February 2017. The study population was women with a
history of infertile aged 25 - 40 years in vitro fertilization procedures.
Result : The number and the percentage of mature oocytes 73.28% in the group Double
trigger, 83.02% in the group of hCG, however the number of oocytes were successfully
become embryos 97.22% in the Double Trigger and 94.48% in the hCG, the oocytes were
successfully transferred 46.18% in the double trigger and 51.9% in the group Double trigger
the number of successful pregnancies hCG group 44.2% and 30.8% and the incidence of
OHSS statistically by Chi-square test p value> 0.05 which showed no significant difference
in both study groups. The number of oocytes fertilized in Double trigger group 72.37% and
61.1 % hCG group. The value of p <0.05 Statistically showed no significant differences in both
study groups.
Conclusion : There were no significant differences percentage and number on the outer
oocytes mature, outcomes oocytes into an embryo, outcomes oocytes successfully
transferred success rate of pregnancy and the incidence of severe OHSS, moreover found
significant difference in the percentage and number of output oocytes were successfully
