Abstract

The title of this study is Analysis of the Value of Heroism in the Film The Captain Studi: Sociology of Literature. This study aims to describe the form of heroic value and explain the factors about heroic value in the film The Captain. The theory used in this study is the theory of literary sociology. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study is a dialogue that contains words and sentences that show the heroic value found in the film The Captain. The data sumbe in this study is the film The Captain. The method of data collection in this study was carried out by watching and recording techniques. The results of this study researchers found the form of heroism found in figures such as the value of courage, the value of being willing to sacrifice, the value of cooperation, the value of solidarity, the value of never giving up and the value of optimism, and found that there are factors that cause why the figure can be said to be a hero.
