dc.description.abstractThe Covid-19 phenomenon has also affected the process of administering schools in Indonesia. One of the affected areas is Gunungsitoli, Nias. Due to various changes in conditions in schools, the researchers wanted to empirically test the role of student engagement on academic flow for junior high school students in Gunungsitoli. This analysis uses the independent variable student engagement and the dependent variable is academic flow. The sample of this study was 326 junior high school students in Gunungsitoli, the sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Data was collected by giving questionnaires using a student engagement scale and academic flow scale, which were distributed directly to the selected sample. The statistical method used in this research is Simple Linear Analysis. The results of the data analysis of this study showed a p value (0.000) < 0.05, so this study found the role of student engagement on academic flow in junior high school students in Gunungsitoli. The test results also show that there is a significant role for student engagement, which is 33.4% of the academic flow of junior high school students in Gunungsitolien_US
