This study aimed to determine the relationship between celebrity worship and psychological well-being in early adult K-Pop fans. Celebrity worship is a form of parasocial interaction where an individual becomes obsessed with celebrities. Meanwhile, psychological well-being is a concept used to describe the psychological health of individuals based on the fulfillment of positive psychological function criteria. Early adulthood according to Erikson is a stage where the conflict between intimacy versus isolation arises. Celebrity worshipping by early adult individuals could be seen as a form of isolation, in which intimacy is not successfully fulfilled. Incidental sampling technique used in this study and the study subjects amounted to 104 people. Celebrity Attitude Scale and Psychological Well-Being Scales were used as measuring instruments in this study. The data analyst used in this study was the Multiple Regression Analysis. The significance level of the data was 0.017. The results of this study showed that there was a simultaneous relationship between celebrity worship’s dimensions and psychological well-being in early adult K-Pop fans.
