dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the magnitude of the effect of resilience on psychological distress in individuals in emerging adulthood in terms of neuroticism personality. The research method used in this research is associative quantitative research method. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a sample of 199 people. Data was collected using Likert scale consisting of a neuroticism scale based on the Big Five Factor Marker Theory from Goldberg (1992), a Psychological Distress Scale from the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K-10) developed by Kessler and Mroczek, and a Resilience scale from Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC 25) developed by Conner-Davidson (2003) and distributed online via google form. The analytical method used is a simple and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that : (1) There was an effect of resilience to psychological distress (2) There was an effects of neuroticism to psychological distress (3) There was an insignificant effect on resilience to psychological distress after being moderated by the neuroticism variable. (4) The neuroticism variable as a moderator contributed 23.5%.en_US
