dc.description.abstractLoad of a big task requiring The Head of Pamardi Putra Insyaf Social orphanage Medan should have a leadership style and high working discipline in its duty to obtam maximum work But in reality, many employees lack of discipline, and it can be seen from several things such as (a) Undisciplined behavior that does not come to work because they are sick, a family affair, comes to work late, leaving the office during working hours, delaying the completion of the work (b) leaders who make decisions with short and fickle can cause discord both among colleagues and the fellow in the section because of the lack of understanding and good cooperation. The decrease in performance can also be seen from the decree of the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, No 48/MS/C/04/2016 that the Audit Board Opinion on the Financial Statements of the Ministry of Social RI 2015 is the disclaimer (no opinion) decrease from the previous year with unqualified opinion that led to the plan to increase the Performance Benefit canceled. The objective of the research was to losow and analyze whether leadership style has a positive effect on employee performance either partially or simultaneously. The approach used in this study was a survey This research method is quantitative descriptive and the sample used in this research was census that is all employees of orphanage as many as 70 people The research used multiple linear regression using an SPSS software program The results of this study are (1) Partially, situational leadership has positive and significant impact on orphanage employee performance (2) working disciplme partially has positive and significant impact on performance (3) Situational leadership and working discipline have positive and significant impact on performance. The conclusion of this study is that the situational leadership style has influenced the decline in performance at Pamardi Putra Insyaf Social Orphanage, Medan Working discipline of each employee is also a considerable factors which give a good impact on the poor performance which in turn it will determine the performance of the employee of Pamardi Putra Isy Social Orphanage, Medan. It can be interpreted that the situational leadership style and the level of each employer working discipline have significant role to determine employee performance at Pamandi Putra Insyaf Social Orphanage Medanen_US
