dc.description.abstract | Employees performance is an important thing to be paid attention by a company to see how far the employees can do their job well PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I is a company which operates in port service, it had had good performance so far However, performance decreased which was probably influenced by some factors like work stress, work environment, and work satisfaction. The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of work stress, and work environment on employees' performance with work satisfaction as intervening variable at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia 1 (Persero), Medan. The research used causality research method The samples were 166 employees as the respondents, taken by using simple random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using path analysis with an SPSS software program. The result of the research showed that, partially, work environment had negative but significant influence on work stress which, in turn, had negative but significant influence on work satisfaction, work environment had negative but significant influence on work satisfaction, work stress had negative but significant influence on employees' performance, work environment had positive and significant influence on employees' performance, work satisfection had positive and significant influenced on employees' performance, work stress had negative but significant indirect influence on employees' performance through work satisfaction as intervening variable and work environment had positive and significant influence indirectly an employees' performance through work satisfaction as intervening variable | en_US |
