    Pembuatan Komposit Poliester BQTN 157-EX dengan Penguat Bentonit dan Surfaktan Cetil Trimetil Ammonium Bromida (CTAB)

    Abstract
    Composite are mixture difference materials or has more produces characterize and characterization it doesn't produces main material. Resin polyester BQTN 157- EX are part of dominant (major) into composite the function as matrix and bentonite are part of not dominant (minor) into composite the function as filler.The first research for bentonite processed that source from material anorganic and nffinif. characteristic was done. These processed was done to produce bentonite that has related with polymer the material organic and hydrophobic characteristic. This examination was done with using X-Ray Diffiaction CX-RD) that produce d-spacing bentonite before processed 1,142 nm and after processed with CTAB d-spacing being 1,571 nm, that means a parts of alkyl ammonium had intercalation into bentonite commercial layer. Especially nanocomposite upon 2,5Yo the mass of bentonite showing biggest characteristic than resin polyester. In 3,5 yo nanocomposite, mass of bentonite and 300 mesh of particle sizes produced a tensile strength of 196,57 MPa, elongation of 24 %o and 0,80 joule of impact.. This case more better if we compare with result that we have from resin polyester, that produce 104,92 MPa of tensile strength, l3,32yo of elongation and 0,21 Joule of impact. SEM used for morphology composite test that composite from random agregat dispersion as a result of intercalation from the whole matrics. Heat degradation a part of composite found a little bit fast compare with pure polymer. In FTIR, functional clusters every particle sizes and bentonite concentrate almost showing suitability with pure polymer.
