Backgrounds of this research was triggered from a need by Dow AgroSciences Indonesia to develop a standard procedure and flow map to fit with supply chain linkage in Dow AgroSciences Medan Plant. With no standrad process and procedure will create un-certainty in servicing customers. High probability will have generate failures like goods damage, less shipment or late delivery to customers. Development of standard work process and procedures in out bound material flow activities also align with Dow Global Strategic Blue Print. From research in logistic department and literatures this thesis out put formed a schematic model for out bound material flow work process and mathematic calculation to measure on time performance in out bound material flow activities. To ensure this schematic model work effectively it is necessary to develop or linkage related procedures or processes. A simple mathematic model used to calculate accuracy of arrange time, shipment time and at the end of the out bound flows is accuracy for on time delivery. Even focus on this research is time accuracy but from the procedures and check list this model also still look at product quality From this work process model development and procedures we can identified elements that will have key contribution to ensure achieving work process models objectives. Those elements are people, system it self and infrastructure. The very important part of succesful implementation of this model are doers in this work process model i.e. logistics scheduler, Loader, Security and Carrier After the implementation of this model in some period we can see a metrics improvement. Data showing an improvement in accuracy of arrange ume, shipment time and at the end of the out bound process is accuracy of delivery time. This improvement tell us that this model is workable to improve logistics performance specially in meeting customer request delivery date. This work process model also expandable to other part of logistics department (in bound) or can be leverage to other functional in the companyen_US
