Basicly peat water is belong to surface water which is found in the wet land with the characteristic of high clor intensites (brown red or yellow), low pH values (about 2-5), sour taste, high organic content and low particles an ions content as well.
For use as water source for domestic purposes, the analysis of ion and mangan concentration is required by using chicken bones as an adsorbent. So that peat water can be utilized hence have to be made clear beforehand and reduce Iron rate (Fe) and Manganese (Mn) applied by chicken bone as adsorbent.
In this research the concentration of Iron rate (Fe) and Manganese (Mn) by using the spectrockopic method of analysis. It was found that Iron rate (Fe) und Manganese (Mn) are 0.9751 mg/L and 0.0728 mg/L. Iron rate (Fe) and Manganese (Mn) after added by is chicken bone of 80 Mesh 0.5 gram up to 3.0 gram are Iron rate (Fe) 2.3356 mg/L to 4.8257 mg/L and After added by harsh chicken bone is 0.6915 mg/L 0.8594 mg/L ppm. For Manganese rate (Mn) after added by chicken bone of 80 Mesh is 0.1232 mg/L to 0.2206 is finite mg/L. At yhe addition by harsh chicken bone is 0.651 mg/l to 0.1289 mg/L. That show bone measure influence absorbtion of metal Fe and Mn. That way hence chicken bone cannot used as adsorbent.
