This study aims to determine the effect of service, religious, profit sharing,
and promotion of the decision in choosing the Takaful customers in the city of
Medan.
This study took a sample of 43 people who became customers in Takaful
Insurance General Insurance. Methods of data collection in this study was a
questionnaire. Methods of data analysis using quantitative descriptive method and
multiple linear regression analysis.
The results showed that service factors have a positive and significant
impact on customer decisions in choosing Islamic insurance in the city of Medan.
Religious factors have a positive and significant impact on customer decisions in
choosing Islamic insurance in the city of Medan. Profit Sharing Factors having a
positive and significant influence on the decision in choosing the Takaful
customers in the city of Medan. Promotional factors have a negative impact and
no significant effect on the decision in choosing the Takaful customers in the city
of Medan.
