Have been manufacture and characterization of palm oil boiler ash (POBA)
nanoparticles and carbon black (CB) as fillers in LDP J-,; thermoplastic
nanocomposite. Nanoparticles of POBA by using a ball mill and then
coprecipitation method, after that carried out manufacture LDPE nanocomposite
by hot press and cold press method Variation the composition of ABKS and CB
nanoparticles as fillers on nanocomposite thermoplastic LDPE is (0, 5, 10, 15,
20)% wt. The results of XRD analysis of POBA particle size is 85.3 nm and CB is
36. 74 nm. In the nanocomposite thermoplastic LDPE with filler nanoparticles
POBA with the best composition of 20% wt showed visible surface morphology
analysis and distributed evenly, tensile strength is 20.93 MPa, elongation at break
is 472.22 mm, and Young's modulus 221.1 MPa, the result of thermal analysis is
492.68 °C decomposition temperature changes in mass. While the best composition
on the filler CB at 5% wt showed visible surface morphology analysis looks an
agglomerate, tensile strength 21.45 MPa, elongation at break is 436.21, and
Young's modulus 246.22 MP a, the result of thermal analysis is 488. 70 °C
decomposition temperature change in mass.
