In light of the challenges posed by globalization and digitalization, Human Resources are crucial to the success of an organization. As a result, organization is required to prepare professional and competent human resources to face those challenges. Since 2014, E- Performance application has been utilized by the Indonesian government in both central and local governments to enhance the ASN (Civil Servant) performance. This study aims to examine the effect of E-Performance Application on the ASN performance in the Information and Communication Office of Labuhan Batu Regency. In addition, it also looks into the effect of E-performance and competency on ASN performances as measured by ASN job satisfaction. The study population, 42 ASN from the Information and Communication Office of Labuhan Batu Regency, is selected using non-probability sampling technique namely saturated sampling or census. A standardized 5-point scale questionnaire is carried out. Path analysis and descriptive statistical analysis are applied to analyze the data. The study indicates that the use of E-performance, competency, and job satisfaction have positive and significant effects on ASN performance. It is found that E-performance has positive and significant effects on ASN job satisfaction. Meanwhile, competency demonstrates negative and significant effects on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction is able to accommodate the effect of E-performance application and competency on ASN performance in the Communication and Information Office of Labuhan Batu Regency.
