Pelaksanaan Program Jaminan Sosial Tenaga Kerja Bagi Karyawan Pt. Gelatik Supra Cabang Kota Medan

Abstract

Workers social security system is an assurance to provide protection for workers from the risk that one day could happen. The implementation of social security mechanisms implemented by insurance, and every worker is entitled to participate. Companies must engage employees in the Social Security program. PT. Gelatik Supra of Medan City is a private company engaged in the distribution of labor needed by the client company. The company has included employees as members of Social Security. During 2004 to 2010 registered a total of 120 employees who claim Social Security. Based on the researcher feel interested to know the implementation of the Social Security program for employees of PT. Gelatik Supra Medan City. This research was conducted at PT. Gelatik Supra of Medan City located at Danau Marsabut Street number 11 Medan. This type of research used is descriptive analysis technique with a single table. Population in this research is all employees who have registered to claim Social Security in 2004 until the year 2010 as many as 120. The sample in this study 25% of the population of 30 employees who filed claims have been registered Jamsotek. Sampling using simple random sampling. Based on the results obtained it can be taken several general conclusions of the program include Social Security (Employment Accident Insurance, Death Benefit and Old Age Security) at PT. Gelatik Supra of Medan City done well enough characterized the response of employees and the beneficiaries who received reimbursement for costs and compensation in accordance with applicable regulations. Despite the lack of information about the procedure of filing a Social Security claims and reimbursements received by the employees of PT. Gelatik Supra of Medan City. Therefore expected that the Social Security Agency and the parties to participate in realizing the Social Security program is communicative and transparency so that they would not be picking on any party and can be useful for employees of PT. Gelatik Supra of Medan City.
