Strategi Pengembangan Sektor Pertanian Subsektor Tanaman dan Bahan Makanan di Kecamatan Pollung Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan

Abstract

This research purpose to cognize about subsector development strategics of plants and foodstuffs on Pollung Sub-district. This research refers to the society of Pollung Sub-district which is the main of livelihood is plants and foodstuffs subsector. The basis of this research is the opinion of society about the state of subsector plants and foodstuffs. The analysis of this research is SWOT (Strenght,Weakness,Oportunity,Threat) analysis. Data were obtained by questionnaire. The population that used in this study is 3775 households. While the method of sampling is judgement sampling as much as 97 samples. The results of this research is to indicate that the good strategy in the subsector development of plants and food is SO strategy (Strenght Oportunity) which to maximize the strength factors of plants and foodstuffs subsector and then how to take the advantage of opportunities in plants and foodstuffs subsector.
